Registration Deadline for Financial Aid Recipients

Financial Aid Services evaluates student enrollment each semester to determine eligibility for grants, scholarships, and loans. To qualify for financial aid, students must be registered in courses that are required for their declared area of study by the applicable census date.

Federal and state aid eligibility is finalized based on the census date of the course with the latest start date in the semester. Census dates for each session can be found on the HCC Registration Dates and Deadlines webpage.

Important: Only courses that apply to a student’s declared area of study are included in financial aid eligibility calculations. Students must officially declare their area of study before the census date of their first enrolled term in the semester.
