MATH 071 Essentials of Intermediate Algebra
Students will explore algebraic and graphical techniques to model and solve real-world application problems as a preparation for taking College Algebra. Topics include linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions, linear and non-linear systems, and inverse functions.
Prerequisite
An appropriate score on the mathematics placement test, or a grade of A in
MATH 061, or a B in
MATH 067, or a C in MATH 067E.
