PED 213 Golf
Prerequisite: PEH 100 or permission of instructor
Offered: Typically every Fall Term
This course is designed to introduce some of the fundamental skills, knowledge and course behaviors which would be essential for the beginning golfer to acquire in order to participate and enjoy the game as a lifetime activity. Students will be taught the basic grips, set-up and swing mechanices for a variety of beginning level golf shots (putting, chipping, pitching, driving, and bunker play). They will also be introduced to some of the rules as it relates to etiquette (behavior and dress code) and fair play. NOTE: Not open to students who have received credit for PED 206M.
