PHY 441 Physics Capstone Research

A course centered around a research topic in physics approved by program faculty. The seminar emphasizes independent research conducted under the guidance of a faculty member, leading to a substantive research paper and presentation of research results to faculty and students in the program in the subsequent course PHY 492 Physics Writing Seminar. Normally taken in the senior year, it is open to other advanced students with permission.
