HIS 305 Topics in Environmental His.

This course examines a specific topic or theme in environmental history in an effort to develop a deeper appreciation for the complex and ever-evolving relationship between humans and the nonhuman world. By reading primary documents and secondary materials, students will explore questions that cross the boundary between humans and nature and invite us to think at a planetary scale. May be repeated for credit, provided the topic differs from that previously studied.
