BIO 410 Human Anat w/Cadaver Dissect.

This course provides an in-depth study of human gross anatomy through lectures and hands-on cadaveric dissections. Using a regional approach, students will explore the structure and function of the back, shoulder, upper limb, lower limb, thorax, and abdomen, while learning to respectfully dissect a human donor and understand the significance of body donation. Emphasis is placed on the spatial relationships of anatomical structures
and their importance in clinical contexts. The class meets for two hours, three days per week, and consists of both lectures and an intensive laboratory experience. Designed for juniors and seniors preparing for advanced study in medicine, physical therapy, physician assistant programs, or
careers in human anatomy. Due to the specialized nature of this course and limited enrollment, registration is by permission only.
