PUBH-101 Introduction to Public Health

Introduction to Public Health is a survey course designed to introduce students to public health topics such as biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental and occupational health, behavioral health, health policy and administration, maternal and child health, and ethics. The course provides methodology for understanding health and health policy matters at a population level and exposes students to various occupations in the field of public health. Course content will include guest lecturers who serve in a public health field and possible site visits to public health institutions.
