URSC 203 Undergraduate Research III
Students will evaluate their laboratory research project, write a research project, and write a research report including a revised abstract that describes the context of the research objectives, project design, methodologies, data collected, discussion, and literature cited. Students will observe ethical practices in research. Students will present their research report in both a poster session and an oral presentation to explain scientific ideas.

URSC 202 and departmental permission

Course Objectives
- Recognize ethical issues related to research, identify one’s core beliefs relating to ethical issues, and apply a research code of ethics to ethical issues.
- Construct a written research report including a revised abstract.
- Develop a future plan for the research project, based on the current research project, based on the current research report, to continue the project.
- Discuss project design and communicate research findings in an oral presentation.
