ENGL 086 Academic Advanced Reading for ESL Students

Students will develop their reading comprehension and vocabulary building with an emphasis on academic preparation for college-level courses. Students will apply critical thinking skills and information literacy skills to analyze advanced-level readings. Reading is approached as an integrated part of an ESL student’s overall English language learning, not as an isolated skill.
