EDUC 299 Field Experience: Methods of Teaching Secondary Education

This is a field-based course that provides the opportunity to apply the theories and methods learned regarding teaching practices, educational goals, and trends in educational assessment. Students will analyze instructional practices as they relate to teaching and learning as is appropriate for age/grade level and professional specialization.

Prerequisite

This course is only available to students who have successfully completed the equivalent of Methods of Teaching Secondary Education at another higher education institution but who have not completed 15 hours of field experience as part of that course (EDUC 267). Additionally, permission of the Director of Teacher Education is required in order to enroll in this course
