SPCH 145 The Standard American Accent

This course is designed to help students reduce their regional or non-standard American English accent. This course also allows students to experience and understand the basic tools of communication, voice, and diction. Class exercises include relaxation, articulation, vocal range, and inflection. Students will learn to speak the standard American English accent with clarity and confidence.
