CADD 103 Intermediate CAD

Students will learn how to adapt the principles of descriptive geometry when applied to 'real-world' applications, involving using the Cadd system to create Isometric and 3-D drawings. Students will have the opportunity to work on drawings used in various technical fields, such as mechanical engineering, architecture, and electronics. Students will learn current production techniques to automate the drawing process and how to develop intelligent technical documents.

  1. 1. Master the more advanced features of the CAD system.
  2. 2. Create drawings imbedded with intelligent data.
  3. 3. Use the advanced 3D concepts and commands of the CAD system.
  4. 4. Create interfaces between the CAD system and various computer programs.
  5. 5. Create scripts and slide files for CAD Applications.
  6. 6. Use .XYZ point filters.
  7. 7. Use intermediate dimensioning commands.
  8. 8. Use system variables and setting.
  9. 9. Use external references.
  10. 10. Create user coordinates.
  11. 11. Use basic rendering commands.
