DANC 206 Practicum in Choreography, Performance, or Production

Self-directed study of a creative project designed to focus on a specialized area of dance for presentation in a Dance Department production. Students may opt to participate in production in either stage managing, costume, set, or lighting design capacities. Permission of Dance Coordinator is required.

  1. Create a dance project focusing on a specialized area under the guidance of the Dance Department faculty.
  2. Communicate the artistic vision behind a creative project.
  3. Demonstrate more advanced knowledge of dance technique, performance, or technical theater through attendance and participation in preparation for dance productions.
