CADD 209 Advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM)
This course is designed for students in the Computer-Aided Design and Construction Management programs. This course will expand the student’s knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) model design and construction. The course will cover advanced topics such as clash detection, 3D simulation for construction and planning, and 4th dimensional sequencing.
Hours Weekly
2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab
Course Objectives
- Create composite BIM models.
- Analyze BIM models using clash detection methods.
- Create three-dimensional simulations using BIM composite models.
- Generate and evaluate four-dimensional sequencing simulations driven by BIM models.
