CNST-225 Building Construction Planning and Scheduling
This course is an introduction to the Critical Path Method (CPM) of construction project scheduling. The emphasis is on preconstruction planning, project procurement, construction sequencing, schedule preparation, and reporting.

Course Objectives
- 1. Identify project tasks and activities.
- 2. Recognize the relationship between project tasks.
- 3. Identify time parameters for an activity and their effect on overall duration.
- 4. Identify critical path activities.
- 5. Organize group and subgroup activities for major project components.
- 6. Identify the different types of schedule formats.
- 7. Establish and update the project baseline schedule.
- 8. Establish cost and resource requirements for each scheduled activity.
- 9. Apply the successor and predecessor relationships for each scheduled activity.
- 10. Interpret Early Start, Late Start, Early Finish, and Late Finish dates for the project schedule.
