ARTT-211 Painting I

Students will learn the materials, tools, and approaches to painting in oil or acrylic. Color mixing and theory as it applies to painting is a central concern of the course. The emphasis in the course is on technical mastery and direct observation from life. Subjects may include still life, interiors, landscape, portraiture, and figures.
