Chemical Dependency Track

The focus is on basic counseling skills for individuals and families, substance abuse prevention, and rehabilitation. This track provides academic coursework to attain certification as a Certified Supervised Counselor - Alcohol and Drug. Additional clinical fieldwork in the addiction field is required. Students may continue their education towards an associate of arts degree by following the General Education Core in the Human Services transfer pattern.
