This course of study is designed for students who wish to be better prepared to transfer to a college, conservatory, or university that offers a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology or Composition. Students are advised to check the requirements of the institution to which they intend to transfer. This letter of recognition, in addition to HCC’s Music A.A. area of study, will provide the necessary courses for those seeking to transfer to programs that list Music Technology or Composition as a major.

It is strongly recommended that students take MUSC-228 Audio Techniques I and 2-4 credits of Applied Composition (MUSC-117/118) as well.
