This course of study is designed for students who wish to be better prepared to transfer to a college, conservatory, or university that offers a bachelor’s degree in Music (Musicology, Performance, Music Criticism). Students are advised to check the requirements of the institution to which they intend to transfer. This letter of recognition in addition to HCC’s Music A.A. area of study will provide the necessary classes for those seeking to transfer to programs that list music history, music criticism or performance as a major.

MUSC-232 | History of Western Art Music III: The Twentieth Century | 3 credits |
To be even better prepared, it is recommended that students also take one of the following courses as well: MUSC-159 Jazz History or MUSC-107 American Popular Music MUSC-107.
