FRN 366 Novels to 1913 & Film Adapt.

This course will explore novels, novellas, short stories, essays, and other prose works written in French up to 1913. We will read excerpts that exemplify movements like the Renaissance, Classicism, the Enlightenment, Romanticism, Realism, Psychological Realism, Naturalism, and Modernism. Taught in French.
