Release of Information to the Public Media
The Associate Vice President of Integrated Marketing and Communications and the News and Information Manager serve as the College’s principal contacts with the print and electronic media, locally, regionally, and nationally. All employees wishing to provide information to media representatives should coordinate such contact through the Integrated Marketing and Communications Department. Similarly, employees who are approached by a media representative regarding any matter of College business are encouraged to refer such inquiries to either of these individuals in the Integrated Marketing and Communications Department. The staff members in the Integrated Marketing and Communications Department also welcome information about professional activities, student accomplishments, innovative courses or teaching strategies, special events, or other developments of potential interest to the media. Having such information on a timely basis helps bring such important matters to public attention.
