MUS 340O Organ Pedagogy

Prerequisite: MUA 221 (organ) or permission of instructor

Offered: Typically as student interest and faculty availability allow

A study of instructional methods and materials used in teaching organ, as well as performance practices and problems. Each person enrolled in the course will teach lessons to two beginning organ students during the term, gaining practical experience in pedagogy. Two periods per week plus one hour teaching. 1/2 Course Credit
