EDS 475 Tchg Pract-Interdis ECE(CFS)
Prerequisite: Completion of all required major and education courses for IECE program AND Admission to Student Teaching

Students in the Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education program will spend 12-14 weeks in various approved birth through kindergarten settings under the joint guidance of supervising teachers and the early-childhood-education faculty of the Child and Family Studies Program. Students will develop and implement learning environments and educational experiences for multi-ability and multi-age children and their families in home-based, center-based, and school programs. All students will attend weekly one-hour seminars. By the end of the teaching practicum, students will have completed all Education portfolio requirements. 3 Course Credits
