This course is designed for students who want to develop an existing business idea and analyze its feasibility. Students conduct primary research (customer interviews, observations, and surveys) and secondary research (analyzing market trends and other data) to validate aspects of the business such as market size, pricing plans, and growth potential. Students design market entry strategies and a financial plan. Students also write a comprehensive business plan and deliver a business plan pitch. Students with an existing business idea or an existing business, who are not pursuing an Entrepreneurship Certificate, are invited to reach out to the Entrepreneurship Coordinator at 443-518-4893 to determine if the HUMN 115 prerequisite may be waived.
