ENES 200 Engineering Design with CAD

Students are introduced to the engineering design process using computer aided design (CAD) as the primary tool. CAD topics include feature and part modeling, assemblies, dimensioning, and CAD-based simulation and analysis. Students will apply fundamentals of solid modeling and engineering science to complete a design project. The project requires student groups to follow a design process, including decision-making methods, design analysis, fabrication of a prototype, etc. Students will produce technical reports, including engineering drawings, and make oral presentations.
