SABR-919 World War II Study Abroad Program

Howard Community College offers a Spring Break Study Abroad Program. Participants will spend 9 days in France (Normandy and Paris) studying the buildup to World War II and the major events during the war. The focus of the course will be on the military engagements analyzing how the war was fought on the battlefield. There will also be emphasis on the home front and how the war affected non-combatants in Europe. Finally, the course will focus on the victims of the war with a special emphasis on the Holocaust itself. (Study Abroad program dates: March 28-April 7,2013) There will be five class sessions (once a week for three hours per session) at HCC prior to the program departure. Dates for these sessions are February 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, from 7:30pm-10:20pm.
