CHEM-136 Chemistry for Engineers Lab

This course is designed mainly for engineering students intending to transfer to the University of Maryland College Park or Morgan State University. In CHEM-136, students will investigate the fundamental principles of chemistry using various techniques including UV-VIS spectrophotometry, titrations, chemical analysis, electrochemical cells, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and gravimetric analysis. Lab experiments will provide students with data to collect and interpret in order to measure properties and/or identify chemical substances. Pre- or corequisite: CHEM-135. (3 hours lab weekly)
