Latin Minor
	
The Latin minor program is designed for students to acquire knowledge of Greek and Roman texts and to introduce them to those cultures and major works of classical literature. Graduates have found their classical-language education particularly useful in a number of professional and business careers.
	
		
			Degree Requirements
		
The minor in Latin requires a minimum of five (5) course credits, as follows:
			Required Core Course

			Required Distribution Courses
		
Four (4) additional LAT course credits above the 103 level, as specified by the Foreign Languages Program 
	 Other Considerations in the Minor — Students who minor in a Foreign Language also are eligible for study-abroad grants.
